The PSL scale is grouped into named tiers so people can talk about ranges instead of exact decimals. Roughly: LTN (low tier normie, ~PSL 3–4), MTN (mid tier normie, ~4–4.5), HTN (high tier normie, ~4.5–5.5), Chadlite (~5.5–6.5), Chad (~6.5–7.5), and Gigachad/Adam (7.5+).
"Normie" is not an insult here — it just means within the normal, non-exceptional range that most people occupy. The tiers matter because attraction is non-linear: the jump from HTN to Chadlite changes how a face is perceived far more than a same-size jump inside the normie band.
