What Is the PSL Scale?

The PSL scale — short for Pretty Scale Level — is a numerical 1–10 rating system used in looksmaxxing and facial aesthetics communities to assess overall male or female attractiveness. 3.5–4.5: LTN — Low Tier Normie

Below average but within the normal range. Typically 1–3 significant structural weaknesses with few halos. The upper end of "invisible" — doesn't attract spontaneous positive attention. ~25th percentile. Significant gains possible through both softmaxx and hardmaxx.

4.5–5.5: MTN — Mid Tier Normie

5.5–6.5: HTN — High Tier Normie

7.5–8.5: Chad

Significantly above average across the board. Dominant facial profile in most rooms. Top 5%. Sexual dimorphism is strong: defined supraorbital ridge, wide bizygomatic width, acute gonial angle, sharp mandible. Positive canthal tilt almost universal at this tier.

8.5–9.5: High Chad

Top 1–2%. Near-optimal proportions. Strong halos across structural, harmonic, and dimorphism categories. Moggs essentially all men in most environments without trying. Surgical ceilings irrelevant.

9.5–10.0: GigaChad / Hyperchad

Statistical outlier. Facial architecture at the extreme right tail of the distribution. Essentially every measurable vector is at or near the ideal. The "internet Chad" meme originates here. Less than 0.1% of the population.
